Hasbro is going to change Derpy’s name in the show because there were complaints that “Derpy” is a slur for disabled people. This is not the case. I ask that you please read more in the following link and sign the petition to save Derpy. Please also reblog if you can.

The MLP fanbase practically created Derpy. It was s dream come true when she finally became canon, and now Hasbro/The Hub/butthurt people are trying to take that away.
Derpy doesn’t want to be renamed! She finally gets a speaking part in an episode and this happens. SHE JUST DOESN’T KNOW WHAT WENT WRONG!
